Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

This is hands down in the top 5 of our vacation adventures… EVER! A morning of paddling, wildlife, shelling, mangroves, as well as laughter, learning, exploration, and family time. Our guide, Kim, was phenomenal! She had so much knowledge to share and so much patience for our inquisitive 9 year old. We loved every minute of our kayak tour and will definitely be back during future vacations.

Brian our guide was a lot of fun. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wild life and costal landscape. Kayaking through the mangrove trees was like going into another world. Thanks Brian for an awesome day!

It was an amazing time so quite abd peaceful. The wildlife was everywhere. Our guide was Spencer he did an amazing job with all our questions etc .He was very knowledgeable about the area. The tour wasnt rushed at all. Enjoyable morning at Shell Key . Thank you for a great time
