Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Brian was such an awesome guide! He was really friendly, well informed of the history and animals, and entertaining. I loved going through the mangroves. We saw a lot of birds and a manatee. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Super fun and educational! Our guide Brian was excellent giving us great details on all areas traveled. He made everyone feel like friends! Took photos of us all and allowed everyone to move at their own pace and enjoy the views. Definitely a must to do if you’re a person that likes to enjoy the water with nature and an opportunity to make new friends. Can’t wait for our next opportunity!!

Excellent guide and beautiful trip! Was a great workout too! We saw many birds and a dolphin. Guide was very informative!
