Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Doug you were a 10/10! It was my second time on the tour and it was just as fun ,plus we got to see different parts of the mangrove and island from the first time. Super knowledgeable and he really loves his job which makes the experience even better. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful trip around the Shell Key Preserve through mangrove tunnels and out to the beach. Doug was a great guide, with extensive knowledge of the local area and environment. Highly recommended!

This is our 2nd time doing the shell key kayaking with coastal kayaking. They are by far the best. They are so informative on nature, funny to talk with. I enjoy our tour. We will be back for a 3rd time.
