Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

This was our first time kayaking and we had the best time! Spencer was an awesome tour guide and so knowledgeable. The mangroves were so beautiful and peaceful. We even saw two dolphins swim right next to us which totally made the trip epic! Definitely recommend this!!

The Shell Key Preserve small group kayak tour was one of the highlights of our visit to the St. Petersburg area. It was a great balance of active paddling, slow meandering in the mangroves, and chilling out on the beach on Shell Key. Our guide was very friendly and informative, taking lots of time to explain everything. We will definitely do this again.

This trip was fantastic. My husband and I wanted to do this while on our anniversary trip. Our guide Ross was fantastic. He had lots of information about the area and wildlife. The pace was easy and we were able to soak it all in. I would recommend this trip 100%.
