Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

This was a highlight of our vacation, even for our 17-year-old sons! Spencer was a fabulous guide and so knowledgeable -- it was interesting learning about the wildlife and mangroves. We were lucky enough to see a manatee while walking along the beach of the preserve. It was so peaceful, a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the huge spring break crowds. The mangrove tunnels were beautiful. 10/10 would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing Experience !!! Grew up in Florida and on the ocean, and this tour was still so much fun. Our guide was awesome and the time flew by. Shell Key was beautiful. Will definitely be doing again !!

Wow! We had an amazing time on this Kayak tour! Not only did we learn so much about the waters and the the birds, we had so much fun! Brian, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and interesting. He even sang to us!! I am so happy we did this and I would totally do it again!! Going through the mangroves was our favorite part!
