Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Had a lot of fun on this kayaking trip! We kayaked out to the Shell Preserve and took a walk along the beach. Then we kayaked through the mangroves. It was so peaceful and calm out on the ocean, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable.

What an amazing group, everyone works very hard to make this an experience not just a guided tour you pay for! Was an absolutely amazing day and beautiful afternoon. Their equipment is in great shape and trust me they think of everything down to a sprayer for your feet to end your experience with this company!!! Will recommend to anyone and everyone I know going to the area and wanting to get out on the water and see a beautiful area. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have someone provide what you paid for and then just go far and above to make sure everything is in place. Don’t miss an opportunity to see and enjoy people who love what they do so much it’s like you’re on the water with one of your buddies or family!! We booked this trip late for our trip in March but we’re so glad we got this company! We learned so much about this area of FL. We had plenty of time for pics, walking on Shell island, and even finding the dolphins!
