Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Such a great tour by Brian! He introduced us to "Fred" the cormorants, taught us so much about the mangroves and fish and wildlife. Told us funny stories and interesting facts. Really great paddle through mangroves and to Shell Beach. I'm a decent paddler and it was easy for me. My friend is less frequent paddler and it felt like a nice but not too much workout to her. 100% recommend this company and this tour. Thank you!!

Tons of fun! Relaxed pace trip with tons to see. Saw dolphins, fish, osprey and loved the cormorants that followed the kayaks! Shell key was beautiful to stop at and walk around. Our guide, Doug, was kind, personable and fun. Our teenage daughters loved it. Would do this trip again in a second!

We’ve never kayaked before and it was such a great experienced and our guide, Spencer, did a great job instructing us and leading us. We will be back in October and will do another kayaking trip.
