Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Awesome kayak of the preserve and shell key. The guides are phenomenal! Their knowledge of ecosystem and marine/ bird life enhance this very relaxing experience of being on the water. Feel the sun on your skin and the breeze in your hair as you glide across pristine waterways. And the mangrove tunnels are beautiful! You will not regret!

Excellent trip! Our guides were amazing...very friendly, patient, kind, and funny. Made us feel very comfortable. Saw some great wildlife. Great for all ages. Be prepared for a little bit of a workout...almost 5 miles 😊

Our sunset kayak trip was great, and Doug was a excellent guide. He had a great balance of being laid-back/calm and yet still happy to be on the water. Ross was great explaining everything on the phone. The launch was easy to find, access and park at.
