This Photography Workshop is the best of a tour, and the best of a class, all in one package. We will take you to special and unique locations where our guide will assist you in capturing photographs which will be more beautiful, more interesting, more creative, and more original than ever before! We not only take you to these sites for great photographs, but we also help you see unique photo opportunities, help you compose your picture, and help you set your camera setting so you end up with great images you will be proud to share with friends and print as art. We transport you to these locations where you will spend plenty of time at each, and we provide you with lunch and snacks, and we assist you with your photography. Choose appx: 5AM departure or 2PM departure.

I had some background experience, but not enough to do what I wanted to do. He asked me my 3 objectives and all 3 were met. He allowed me to struggle on my own, to make mistakes and learn from them, but if I could not figure it out, he was right there to help me figure it out. He was patient and gave meaningful and relatable instructions....like "do i want another cup of sugar", meaning more light, bigger aperture. I was confident at the end of the workshop, and the real proof is that I was able to take photos that I was happy with for the rest of my week in Sedona

I decided last minute to attend this workshop as we were in Sedona and we were not sure we would actually get on our trip due to Covid-19. Luckily I talked my wife in to joining us for the experience. David was very thorough with his pre workshop documentation which we filled in the day before so that he could tailor the workshop for our needs. We were the only participants on this occasion so we had David’s full attention. My wife is the queen of “auto” with her camera and hence he coaxed her gently out of her comfort zone to experience the benefits of “manual” settings on her camera. I had a little experience, but gained a lot from the morning. I came away with a much better understanding of the benefits of working in “manual mode” and carried that on to our trip to the Grand Canyon which is where we headed directly after the workshop. David made the whole experience fun although by the end of the morning he and my wife were picking on me but probably deservedly so!!! We finished off with a delicious lunch and review of our work. I would highly recommend this workshop especially for beginners and aspiring amateur photographers alike and I felt personally, as did my wife, that we gained a lot from the morning.
