This Photography Workshop is the best of a tour, and the best of a class, all in one package. We will take you to special and unique locations where our guide will assist you in capturing photographs which will be more beautiful, more interesting, more creative, and more original than ever before! We not only take you to these sites for great photographs, but we also help you see unique photo opportunities, help you compose your picture, and help you set your camera setting so you end up with great images you will be proud to share with friends and print as art. We transport you to these locations where you will spend plenty of time at each, and we provide you with lunch and snacks, and we assist you with your photography. Choose appx: 5AM departure or 2PM departure.

I had a great day getting familiar with several beautiful areas throughout the Sedona (and also reacquainted with my camera). David was very knowledgeable about photography. I am heading home with some great photos!

This was the best of about 6 photo tours I’ve taken over the last several years. We were two. Dave took us to three sites around Sedona Arizona: one featuring high dramatic cliffs; the second rushing water; the third Sedona's most beautiful mountains. I learned how better to use my tripod; how to shoot in manual mode; and how to use a neutral density filter. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently joined David Westfall for a photography tour in Sedona. Neither of us are experienced photographers and had to rent cameras, as we don't even own a camera with manual settings. Prior to the tour, David provided links to a few videos about basic camera operation and manual settings, so that we had some understanding of some basics prior to the workshop. Then after picking us up for the tour, he went over those things again. He did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to understand and he gave pointers along the way. We went to 3 different sites. I liked that he gave information and pointers but then turned us loose to see what we came up with. We went from knowing very little about using a camera with manual settings, to being pretty comfortable using the cameras. We ended up getting some great shots. I now know I want a better camera and to try some to the same techniques here at home. I feel excited about it. Also as part of the tour, David served us a great lunch consisting of meat and cheese wraps, a homemade orzo salad and other snacks. We were asked prior to the tour what kind of wrap and drink we would like to have. All and all, it was a great tour. David has a fun and friendly personality and is a natural teacher. We learned so much! I now feel excited about continuing to use what I learned and learning more. If it works out we may even book another tour at another location.
