Wonderful day trip with our guide Brendan leading the way. Prompt pickup and clean, well maintained vehicle for the tour. As we left the Phoenix area Brendan pointed out the changes in the geology and plants visible from the road. Made for an interesting ride as we traveled to our various locations on the program. Great way to see Arizona in one day to experience some of it's natural splendor. From the desert to a pine forest and the red rock of Sedona you glimpse the diversity of the state. Spent enough time at each location to enjoy the views and relax in Sedona over lunch. Have to say Brendan went out of his way to make sure we all were having a good time and even had some great suggestions for photos. Great day in Arizona Red Rock country.

Great tour really made by having Dan as our guide/driver. Font of knowledge without pouring too much info on us. Had answers to all the questions and made the whole trip both informative and fun. Would book on the Jeep tour if we went again but unfortunately all booked up before we got there so had a nice meal instead. Long day but well worth the trip

Tour guide was very funny and told many interesting things. But the program was poor. Program was: 1. Montezuma's Castle (30 min., very interesting) 2. Viewpoint at a car park to see the bell rock (15 min., ok) 3. Viewpoint on some rocks at a chapel (30 min, ok) 4. Viewpoint from Sedona Airport overlook to the rocks behind Sedona (15 min., very good) 5. Visiting a normal creek but essentially a native indian art store (30 min., wow, I'm not paying money for that!) 6. Drop off in the city to get something to eat (2h!, tourist centre with restaurants) Heading back to Phoenix at 2pm. I could not imagine to pay that amount of money for that. Happily, I talked to the tour guide and he dropped me off at the bell rock so that I could hike for 2h instead of doing point 6. He picked me up there again on the way back. So, 5 stars for the tour guide! This 2h hike around and partly up the bell rock was really great with astonishing views.

Thank you for letting us know that our guide is 5 stars! We think so too!!! As far as our tour program, our Sedona itinerary is a scenic tour that does not include hiking. After years of experience in tour guiding, we found most of our clients prefer this itinerary. Plus everyone's hiking abilities are at different levels. However, DETOURS can offer private itineraries to accommodate certain preferences/abilities for their tour experience. Please call one of our tour specialist for more information at 480-633-9013.
