What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

Enjoy a visit to the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, an iconic Catholic chapel built into the mesas of Sedona, Arizona

What a wonderful day. Jason, our tour guide, was informative, engaging, and funny. Breaks (bathroom and food) were well planned and the van was comfortable. Sedona was overwhelmingly stunning and fun, as our time there was divided up among several stops, each offering beautiful scenery and/or shopping with explanations and tips from Jason. I would definitely use Detours again.

My friend and I were in Phoenix for a conference. Decided to book the day trip to Sedona. It was AMAZING!!! Tracy was our tour guide. He was the BEST!! He gave us so much history and information. Totally well worth it! Just make sure you have lots of water! It’s so easy to become dehydrated.

Brendan was our tour guide, he gave out any information we wanted to know about Sedona. He also made sure the bus was at a good temperature and made us feel really comfortable . I would definitely be planning going on another tour with detours. Thank you so much for making my first time to Sedona AMAZING!!
