Our new heated (during winter), luxury pontoon aims to amp up the manatee sighting and deliver a more personal event! Observe the endangered West Indian Manatee in Crystal River’s idyllic Kings Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Your US Coast Guard licensed captains and guides will take you into the 600 acre spring fed refuge waters for viewing and snorkeling with these slow moving wild giants. All equipment, fees, snacks and beverages are included.

What To Expect

River Ventures

Embark on your journey with a Coast Guard Certified Master Captain who will be your in water chaperon, educator and photographer. Your tour will run four hours from start to finish and everything you will need is included for one price. You will begin at our full-service tour facility, where you will be educated about the animals in a classroom type setting and receive tips for your snorkel tour to make the most of your day. You will be taught the in’s and out’s of ‘passive interaction’ as this ensures that the animals enjoy the experience as much as we do! You will then be suited up and transported to the dock, where a Coast Guard certified covered pontoon will be waiting for you. This rich estuary will amaze…..birds, fish and wildlife abound! Submerge yourself in the manatee’s world! Finish your adventure by viewing your Captain’s photos back at our facility and be sure to visit our one-of-a-kind gift shop! Our well-informed staff will direct to other local attractions, restaurants and answer of your questions before you are on your way.

We went on our tour thinking it would be great if we could see only one Manatee, that would be more then enough. But we had the jack pot :) we saw a lot of manatees and the best part was, when we found a baby Manatee that hugged and grabbed me all the time. It was sooooo amazing. We went on the tour with Wade and Trisha. Both of them were doing a great job. We had so much fun with them. It was one of our best vacations days. Thank you again for that wonderful tour

What an awesome time! The whole staff was amazing from start to finish!!! From the minute we called and had NO idea what activities to do....to the “above and beyond” service they provided....we could not have asked for more or better!! Captain Tom and Captain Laura were excellent guides and made the day a lot of fun for us all!!! We choose the VIP Adventure with Manatee Swim, Kayaking to Three Sisters Springs and Gulf Airboat. Highly recommend and would definitely do again!!!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Mike and Guide Jose today! Our scalloping adventure was windblown out but that allowed for us to spend even more time in the springs. We were able to cozy up with some beautiful manatees and they were actually very playful and interested in us! We totally lucked out, and are so grateful. The team brought us out cold beverages, provided wetsuits and gear, snapped great photos, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the whole time. Thank you for a great day!
