Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

What can we say, Alberto was a real gent and great time keeper. This was a long day 5:45 pick up with an 20:45 drop off but worth every minute. My wife and I have been discussing today and we have concluded that in all our years of travelling this tour was one of the best! And to top the day off we got to watch a mother bear with her cub from a close (not too close) distance, which just put the icing on the cake. I could go on to describe every element but you need to experience the day yourselves.

This was exactly what I hoped for and expected: a quick trip to Yosemite with a visit to the highlights of the park. Yes, it’s a lot of time in a minivan - but the minivan was comfortable and movies were provided. Would I chose this over a few days visiting the park? No, but it’s perfect for those like me who don’t know if that will be possible. Needless to say, Yosemite was absolutely stunning and breaktaking. I’d recommend people check the weather beforehand - even though it can be quite temperamental. I agonized over booking this trip for days, and with the benefit of hindsight will recommend to all. Organisers we’re professional: guide was informative and everything ran smoothly: from pick-up to drop-off.
