Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

I was glad I joined the tour as I got the chance to see a couple of places I didn’t see 11 years ago. The weather was perfect and the small group was perfect too as the schedule could be flexible. Our tour guide Joe was terrific ; he gave us some useful information, he was funny and a responsible person. Anyway, I had a great time and would love to visit Yosemite again.

Phil rock! He was courteous throughout the entire trip. It was a long day but very well worth it. He pointed out all that could be pointed out in the park. He went out of his way and made sure we saw the most important and memorable views. It was a small group and he made us all feel important and that we got great pictures. He navigated the sharp turns and curves too! Thank you Phil.

We had a brilliant day with our guide, Chris. He was such a lovely guy, really patient, with a clear passion for what he does. We had a great time in Yosemite, it was absolutely beautiful and we had a good couple of hours to do our own walk around in the park. It might be useful in managing expectations to emphasise that it is a long drive from San Francisco so the time in Yosemite is quite limited - if it was any longer, the trip would be over 14 hours, which would be too long. So I think this acts as a great taster for people wanting to see Yosemite, and would definitely recommend!
