Snorkel Tour to Captain Cook Monument Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Overview
If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way!

Captain Chad was super fun and knowledgeable and my friend and I had a wonderful time! I didn't expect to learn so much on a snorkeling excursion, but I felt that it really added to the experience. I felt it was a good mix of time on the boat cruising around and time actually in the water snorkeling. My only small complaint is that I wish we would have been given the option of a wet suit (I am cold all the time, so I probably should have brought my own!).

Super friendly folks! Both the operators and the other people we traveled with. Before we even got out of the harbor we saw dolphins and were able to take a few minutes to watch them, wonderful! On the way to the monument, we took some side trips and our host pointed out places of interest. The snorkeling was excellent, his instructions about using the equipment and where to snorkel were clear. We had plenty of time to view the many species and varieties of marine life. All in all it was a great day!

Best Big Island snorkel Trip ever. Been to this Island 7-8 times. We've taken the "Big Boats" and enjoyed that. BUT once you experience this tour, you'll never go back to the BIG BOYS. Our crew ( Forget their names SORRY GUYS) were knowledgeable, attentive, and easy going but very safe. Very accommodating schedule and itinerary was planned but flexible. Snacks were adequate and REALLY.. Who wants a huge lunch at 3:00 PM? Beverages, chips, fresh fruit 🍓🍑 an plenty of Water. Equipment was in Great shape and the ride quick with 2ea. 300hp Merc.Outboards. We'll be back. BW
