We visit some of the most pristine and famous snorkel sites in the Key Largo Marine Sanctuary on our BRAND NEW 2022 45' snorkel boat, and guarantee our Captain & Crew will make your Key Largo snorkel excursion safe and fun for the whole family. Our staff are highly trained dive professionals who love the ocean and are happy to assist with gear setup, snorkel site information and local area recommendations. Our dive & snorkel facility is only about an hour away from Miami, making it the closest dive shop to the mainland. Our average time to reach most of Key Largo's best reef sites including the famous Christ of the Abyss is just 30 minutes from our shop. Our dive shop, gift shop, bathrooms, showers, tiki and snorkel boats are all located on our property facing the ocean so you waste 0 time after arriving at our dive and snorkel center before heading out to your reef snorkel adventure!

This was a great experience! My daughter had never snorkeled before and this tour was well planned. We had Captain Rob and he was great. We were given very clear and easy instructions, had no problems with any equipment and saw so many fish! Enjoyed the two separate locations as each was different. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Exceptional day in the gorgeous Caribbean waters viewing beautiful fish, visiting two coral reefs and the Christ of the Abyss statue. The boat Calypso was clean, Captain Robert and first mate Brianna were fun to be with and professional. The snacks and drinks they provided were plentiful. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this tour.

We were given zero instructions on the life vest before giving in and ran into serious trouble when the current was stronger than the "captain" thought it would be. Thank god there was another boat in the area, she was able to go aboard and the captain of that boat put her life jacket on correctly and blew some air into it. Very irresponsible of them and they are lucky nothing worse happened, I could not be more upset with what they did to all of us. The captain of the other boat was yelling back to our captain pointing out 3 different swimmers who were having serious trouble. Once we finally made it back, I heard 4 different people say some variation of I was just trying to survive. Also even after the debacle they still got on the mic and strongly encouraged everyone to leave them a tip, what a joke!!!! I hope this was a lesson to them that safety is the only important thing and they need a better system of preparing the snorkelers. One of the worst experiences in my life.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to review the experience you had with us on our snorkel tour. It is very disheartening to hear that you felt unsafe during this experience - Silent World has a perfect safety record on all our snorkeling, scuba tours and scuba training experiences and we hold our staff to the highest level of training for all our snorkel and dive tours. After you spoke with the front desk about your snorkel experience on Saturday we immediately refunded your tour and requested your feedback of how we can improve and what you found our experience lacked. While we do not hand out life jackets as it would keep the persons head pointed toward the sky and would not allow them to see the reef, we do provide snorkel vests for visibility from other boat traffic, for our crew to watch the snorkelers and when inflated it can assist with body position in the water while snorkeling. We also explain on the snorkel experience booking page before purchasing any tickets that all snorkel participants must be able to swim comfortably without assistance in water deeper than they can stand due to the reefs being 10+ feet deep and currents always being a possibility as the reefs are located on the ocean side. After speaking with you Saturday we made a point to speak with both the captain and deckhand on our tours that day about making sure that everyone on board can hear our snorkel vest briefing and reviewing all snorkel equipment information in greater detail. Why we always try our best to find the calmest conditions possible on our reefs with good visibility, low waves and minimal current but the reef sites can have fluctuating conditions as happened during this tour on the first snorkel location, and we try to find a better spot on the second location - this is a large reason of why we are one of the only companies that offers two snorkel location trips with snorkelers only aboard so we give everyone the best opportunity to have a positive and fun experience.
