Overview

One Ocean Diving is an extremely unique program and shark dive led by marine researchers trained by world renowned shark experts Ocean Ramsey & Juan Oliphant. We are the first company in the United States & Hawaii to offer freediving with sharks without a cage and we continue to maintain a perfect safety record.
Guests are taught what to do if a shark approaches them which is useful information they could use throughout the rest of their life. Guests are also taught about shark sensory systems, science, and can participate in data collection. Dives are recapped by the marine researchers who guide the dives (they are the first person in the water and the last person out and stay in the water with the guests the entire time) and conservation information is shared as well as opportunities to support and get involved. One Ocean Diving’s program is part of the One Ocean organization that does other conservation and research work around the world.

The expierence was one for the books! Drew Matt and Bryce were really helpful making sure everyone was good and gave great info! I loved it, i’ve always loved the ocean and being able to learn more about it was great!

This is my second trip with One Ocean Diving - snorkeling/shark diving. I took my niece this time and we had a blast! The water was calm (thank goodness) and we saw so many Galapagos and sand bar sharks! We also learned a lot about shark behavior Hannah. She was super knowledgeable and friendly. She helped each of us dive down to get a closer look at the sharks. Thanks for everything!
