Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

Must be 21 years or older to take this tour.

What To Expect

Sonoma Valley

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

Paul the tour director was first rate, had planned great stops, shared interesting history and information along the trolly route. He did a great job keeping the guests entertained and engaged. The four vineyards were well-selected stops and the hosts/hostesses at each venue were very informative and entertaining.

Our driver Paul was entertaining and enjoyable. We most enjoyed the visit to Buena Vista Winery. It was nice to have someone else driving. Our fellow passengers were fun.

Everything was amazing except the last 2 wineries too expensive small rooms. And no snacks to pair the wines, for the prices at least something to snack while wine tasting ..😓
