Hop aboard this historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

What To Expect

Sonoma Valley

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

This was a great wine tour, we really enjoyed it! It was so scenic riding on the trolley and a lovely way to travel and spend the day enjoying Sonoma Valley. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to do a wine tour.

A perfect way to travel between wineries. The trolley was a perfect way to make a day out of visiting wineries with little planning. The trolley put together our tastings at ideal intervals and a great variety of wineries to visit. the group we were with were so fun and loved the experience!

Really good trolley toor, as Brian was a great driver/host. Nice to visit smaller, independent vineyards and wineries. Good history of the area as well, and great properties. Only concern was the length of the tour and the amount of time we spent at each location......we had dinner reservations at 5 PM expecting a 4 hour tour, but it extended to 7 hours (a full day). Not a problem, but having the tour/driver set expectations earlier would have helped. But otherwise, a great tour on a trolley!

Very sorry about the timing. We do list its about a 5-6 hour tour starting at 10:30 ending about 4:30. Sometimes there can be a group that like to stay at on stop for a bit longer. We are delighted that you shared with us and sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.
