South Kaibab Trail
The South Kaibab Trail is a must-hike trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It was blasted out of the Canyon's sheer walls by the National Park Service in the 1920s, and today offers a dramatic journey to amazing features like Ooh Aah Point, Cedar Ridge and Skeleton Point. On this tour our goal, which is not guaranteed as each group is unique, is Skeleton Point, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch looking down onto the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch far below us. The hike back is arduous, so be ready for a quick descent and a longer return!

What a SPECTACULAR first experience at the Grand Canyon! Our guide, Moshe, patiently led us to the Ooh Aah view point describing the changing geology of the canyon walls along the way. There we had magnificent views of the canyon as the winter storm came in. Moshe then coached this out of shape Texan back up to the rim as the snow accumulated. It could not have been a better adventure!

Our experience hiking the Grand Canyon exceeded our expectations. We only had a few hours but our guide Louie made our morning hike so spectacular. His wealth of information and his knowledge of the trails were very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion.

Had a great hike into the canyon with a very knowledgeable and experience guide. It really augmented our experience and led us further into the canyon than we would have felt comfortable with on our own.
