South Kaibab Trail
The South Kaibab Trail is a must-hike trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It was blasted out of the Canyon's sheer walls by the National Park Service in the 1920s, and today offers a dramatic journey to amazing features like Ooh Aah Point, Cedar Ridge and Skeleton Point. On this tour our goal, which is not guaranteed as each group is unique, is Skeleton Point, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch looking down onto the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch far below us. The hike back is arduous, so be ready for a quick descent and a longer return!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This day hike was more than we couldā€™ve imagined. We started by meeting our tour guide, Shane, at 5am. He started by reviewing safety procedures and ensuring we were comfortable before we started. He was absolutely pleasant from the beginning. We hiked down to Skeleton point. Took us about 6-7 hours round trip. The views were unreal! Shane was very patient with us and gave us lots of fun facts on the hike. He made a delicious lunch for us and had different snacks to choose from and frozen Gatorade (this was much needed on the hike back up to the rim). He also had a spray bottle which he used as a water mister to help cool us down when the sun started beaming on us. His positive energy and polite ways made for an amazing experience! We really enjoyed ourselves and would 100% do it again!

I enjoyed our guide and gorgeous hike Our guide gave us an excellent geological history lesson and provided a nice lunch. We could have used a bit longer more rigorous hike. Aside from this I would use wildland again in a heartbeat
