This was terrific fun for a girls weekend. Instead of eating breakfast at the hotel, we spent the time with Maryann and cooked (and ate) some biscuits. So delicious! I can't wait to make them at home using all the tools I bought and the techniques I learned. In addition to being educational, Maryann is just delightful - funny, sweet, and friendly. The class included a couple of couples, a small family, and us 40-something ladies. THANK YOU, MARYANN! You won't regret booking this - I promise!

Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your visit to my little Biscuit Shop. I'm happy you had as much fun as I do when I teach biscuit baking. It is interesting that you point out the variety of people in class. When I first started teaching biscuit baking, my students were predominately 50+. But now I'm getting people of all ages and walks of life and from all over the country. It thrills me that the Southern biscuits are being baked in all those kitchens by my students... 12 years old to 99 years old. Ha! Please come and visit me again. :)

So glad we took the class. She went over the hows and why’s, and we got to sample two sets of biscuits. Then it was our turn to make dough and cut it out. It was a blast and you get to take your samples home. The class was lively and busy, and I never looked at my watch so I was surprised 2 hours went by. I got supplies to try at home.

My wife and I were in Nashville looking for something a little more wholesome to do. Maryann and her class was GREAT! She put a lot of love into her biscuits and taught us that you can make your biscuits with whatever you like, as long as you make them with love. She made two batches of different biscuits while we watched (and fed them to us). Then, we had a chance to try our hand at it! Great experience, awesome food, and great bonding experience for my wife and I. Recommend 100/100 especially if you are looking for a break from the honkey tonk scene.
