Ghost Town Tours

This intriguing one hour walking tour through the historic buildings and ruins of central Jerome combines Jerome's historical past with a variety of haunting ghost stories. Ghost meters are included and E.M.F. meters are available. This tour includes history, ghost sightings, and accounts of re-occurring paranormal activity. Your knowledgeable guide will offer you the latest and most pertinent information on Jerome's history and hauntings. You will hear tales of Jerome’s nearly lawless early days, the many disasters that plagued Jerome, the dangers of the blast furnace, and much more.

My mother took this tour last month with tour guide Matt. She had an incredible experience, with lots of ghostly encounters, a spirit voice box, and a full history of the town’s sordid past. She really built it up into something. I did not receive the same experience. This time our tour guide was Dave. Extremely friendly, extremely informative- not good for ghost tours. We spent most of the tour in the van, hearing about the men who first arrived here and started the mining. Dave has a lot of stories, but because he spoke so much about the history of building the town, we had no time for actual haunted history. We didn’t even bother to go to the haunted high school, which is the only spot my EMF reader showed any sign of anything. If it is a haunted history tour, it would be nice to focus more on the actual haunting.

This tour was so fun and every staff member we met was friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. We didn't meet any ghosts but the history of the town and the stories the guide told us were all very interesting. We went during the day in the middle of the day but I will probably go back for an evening or night tour just to see if we have better luck finding any ghosts! Highly recommend taking this tour!

We had so much fun learning about Jerome and the history of the town. And having the EMF readers plus the spirit boxes made it even better! Our guide was Kenny (I think?) who was absolutely fantastic, joking and laughing with us all. He even found me a keepsake that I will forever treasure. I highly recommend going at night since it truly sets the tone! Overall, a great tour and absolutely worth the money!
