You'll stroll the World Famous Sponge Docks and learn about the thriving fishing and sponging industry. You'll immerse yourself into our Greek Culture which early settlers brought to this village by the sea. You'll end with "Conversation and Coffee" a brief respite, enjoying a "mud coffee" - a traditional dark roasted brew and a pastry, too!

Not sure that there is any place like it. Who knew that you could harvest sponges? Not sure why one would buy one of the sponges though. Worth a stroll up and down the main street, but don't look for anything special, just the usual cheap Tshirts and other similar souvenir stuff.

Great tour learned lots about Tarpon Springs and the Sponge industry. Our guide knew the topic and many of the locals. She brought us to a local bakery for Greek coffee and pastries, mmmmm!!!
