Visited from the UK for my birthday with my mum. Decided to visit this location as the ‘spy world’ has always interested me. It did not disappoint: in fact it exceeded my expectations. Staff were lovely and helpful. Shop prices were reasonable and the exhibits between challenges/questions was great!

Me and my partner had heard of this place before we got out to New York, and saw it by chance walking past. We were unsure of whether to go, based on some of the recent mixed reviews. We decided to go and did the 007 experience too. We did not regret it. I thought the whole experience was unique. There’s lots of interacting. There are 8 machines that you answer questions to help work out your spy role (your wristband stores all the information). There’s also 4 or 5 special activities about lying/surveillance/lasers etc which were fun. All worked. On the surveillance one, you have to speak into a microphone and a couple of times it didn’t recognise that we said anything, but that maybe was an accent thing? Not a major issue. There were plenty of facts about real life spies and interesting historical moments. But you could skip these bits if you weren’t interested, depends on your interest levels. The 007 was good, as we saw props/cars from the film and showed us interesting facts about how certain stunts were done. All the staff in the shop were helpful and tried to help us find what we needed. I certainly didn’t come across any major issues that some reviews have come across. Would recommend. I imagine it’s good for kids as it’s informative but fun activities too.

Its a nice take on the typical museum experience with interesting infographics and mementos. Also has a unique twist by actually including some serious brainpower activities like IQ tests plus EQ tests. Great section on surveillance ( Snowden trivia efc) , hacking ( Anonymous and Stuxnet etc). Also has clean upscale restrooms. Right next door is a fabulous bakery / restaurant with awesome coffee and other knick knacks. We also visited fhe special James Bond exhibit which is a must for any fan. All in all our whole family had a great time ( we spent nearly 4 hours doing the whole thing). Depending on your taste I’d say very good value for money. Unlikely that young kids would find it of much interest. We have teenagers so it was perfect
