St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview

This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.

I observed Renee conducting a tour on a Monday night and was on her tour Tuesday night! This tour gives you spooky and historical tales of Ancient St. Augustine. Even if you aren't a believer of the supernatural its a must do nighttime activity! Renee was knowledgeable, energetic and fun! I definitely recommend you ask for Renee!

We did the tour on 7/20 at 8:20 with a party of 6. We originally scheduled at 8:40pm but we checked in a little early as we were just walking around St George street and they gave us option to join 8:20 tour so we did. Jan was our guide and she was EXCELLENT. Cannot say enough about her level of knowledge and evident passion for her job. My 18year old and 12 year old daughters loved it as well. We enjoyed the mix of history and the stories of the paranormal. I cannot recommend this tour enough. I have been on several Ghost Tours in the past in Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, and Charlotte but this by far was the best of them all.
