St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview

This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

Our tour begins and ends at 12 St. George St., St. Augustine Florida. Located next door to the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse.

This was a gamble with our two kids (9 and 6). We weren't sure if they would panic or enjoy it. Renee our tour guide did a fantastic job keeping them enthralled and interacted with them throughout the tour. Renee did a great job remembering names and her information. She shared photos and personal experiences that will give you the chills. You can rent emf meters and dousing rods before the tour for some added thrills. The walk was great not too long and not too short. This was a great value for the 90 minutes the tour lasts. We saw several other tour companies in passing and I can say first had that Renee didnt have to make any startling noises to keep our attention she was energetic and really enjoys her job (noticed some of the other tour company guides were less then excited when presenting information). Very impressed with this tour and would highly recommend this company. P.S. make sure you get Renee as your tour guide you will not be disappointed.

Renee was our tour guide and she was amazing. She has a lot Of knowledge about different stories alongside photos of encounters to match. She was delightful And very high spirited! She remembered most of all of our names and interacted with the group as well. We had myself , the husband , 11 &8 year old boys, and stroller with 3 month old. The walk was not as bad as we thought even in the Hot Florida weather. Bring a camera or Phone and suggested to rent the EMF meters. The kids loved seeing it light red with potential paranormal activity. Had a blast and will be back !
