It is one of the most well known fountains in the world, and the statue at its center was the only sculpture to have been commissioned as a part of Central Park's original design. This neoclassical sculpture, also known as Angel of the Waters, features an eight-foot bronze angel who stands above four small cherubim representing health, purity, temperance, and peace. The angel herself carries a lily in one hand while the other remains outstretched, poised in the action of delivering a blessing on the water pouring from around her feet and into the basin at the bottom of the fountain. This is to commemorate the 1842 opening of the Croton Aqueduct, which supplied New York City with fresh water.

I booked this ride from NYC Adventures based on my friends' suggestion. I and my wife and our 8 months old baby Rodin, and we truly enjoyed it. We have been mostly inside since our baby was born. So this was was kind of our first true outdoor experience in a while. Firs I thought it may not be safe for the baby but it turned out to be pretty safe and comfortable. We really enjoyed it! Go try it if you are in the city!

Ah I can not describe the scenes from Central Park from atop of a carriage ride! I felt like I am at movie shooting. Go try it guys, don't miss this if you are visiting NYC. It worked out pretty easily for us. Met them at the corner of 6th Ave and 59th street and had a fairy ride across the one of the world's most iconic parks!
