Start your Hawaiian cruise from the moment you arrive with the Star’s festive pier hula show. Crew welcome you aboard as you’re seated in a beautifully renovated ballroom. Wave bon voyage with mai tai in hand and flower behind your ear as the ship departs Honolulu harbor.

Savor a succulent 3-course meal with Waipoli baby romaine salad, tenderloin of beef, BBQ Chicken and snow crab legs, and Hawaii’s favorite macadamia nut ice cream, freshly baked poi loaf and Kona blend coffee and tea service.

Attire: Casual. Short pants are not recommended. On cooler nights, a light jacket is recommended

We were to told to check in early prior to departure which ended up being an easy process. After check in they provided entertainment outside the ship while we waited to board. While boarding we were welcomed with a very tasty Mai Tai and taken to out seats. We opted for the Celebration plan so we had the window seats which were well worth it. The dinner was very tasty, starting us with salad and taro rolls and main entree being the steak and all you can eat crab. There was plenty of crab offered and often served. We were given the option to step outside the dining room and venture to the top deck and also around the level of which we were seated, we did this during sunset to get the best pictures. Soon after sunset desert was served, a macadamia nut ice cream. The show portion was very entertaining and very similar to a luau except no fire dancing. Great experience overall.

Great shows and hard working dancers. Wonderful night and cruise! Food is just soso but services was excellent and crews were so welcoming.

The show was amazing and the best part of the cruise. All of thr staff was very friendly and efficient at getting everyone seated. Food was okay. Fireworks were nice. Being able to sit, eat, then go outside and watch sunset was a fun experience. Definitely would recommend.
