Liberty island was great but I wouldn’t do the upgrade, save your money because when you get on liberty island do the audio tour for free and you’ll hear the same thing your option upgrade your guide will tell you. Nice guide and all. Also if you want to go to the base of the Statue of Liberty to get a close you have to pay for that before you get out to the island! Didn’t know that before hand, not sure if I missed that on TripAdvisor or they don’t offer that? Anyway we had a great time and learn a lot

Just go on to nps.gov No need to waste money on this trip thru trip adviser. Almost a scam. Admission is free. Just need to buy ferry fare. There is no expedited line.

The admission is not free and there are 2 lines a standard line and a group express line. Clearly you did not join the tour.

My experience was great but I don’t see the necessary to book pre boarding tour, it is a little tour around the very small park for bathing
