What To Expect

Grand Teton National Park

We offer Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours.Uncover the best wildlife hotspots of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National park with a knowledgeable and experienced guide at EcoTour Adventures. We will hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of seasonally available wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.

We did the sunrise 4-hour tour of Grand Teton NP and there aren’t enough words to describe how incredible it was. We went in knowing that a tour company cannot control animals, so there was a chance we wouldn’t see anything. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Thanks to the Best Guide EVER, Tyler the Magnificent, we saw elk, mule deer, moose - so many moose!, a bald eagle, and pronghorn. Then we had a super-close (and very safe) encounter with an adorable cinnamon black bear. THEN we saw Blondie the grizzly. THEN we saw the superstar herself, 399 and her 4 cubs. THEN we literally became part of a bison herd. Honestly, the day could have ended after the tour and we would have been just fine. Best day ever, best tour ever, best guide ever. Worth every single penny. What made it even better: Tyler is a trained wildlife biologist. We didn’t just *see* the animals, we learned everything about them. Tyler taught us about every species we saw. And the glaciers in Grand Teton. And the birds. And the wolves in Yellowstone. And why the trees grow where they do. And all about sagebrush. And why the tallest peak is often in the clouds. We learned SO MUCH. I could go on for hours. Just stop reading now and choose Jackson Hole Eco Tours. Ask for Tyler. Our guide was amazing!!! He took us to great places around the Tetons and we learned so much about the park’s history, wildlife and eco system. I never expected that.

Kelsey gave us a wonderful tour this morning! We saw a baby brown bear eating in a tree, elk and bison. We learned a lot about the animals and area from her. Besides getting great pictures, we enjoyed hot chocolate, coffee and muffins. Our experience couldn't have been better.
