What To Expect

Grand Teton National Park

We offer Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours.Uncover the best wildlife hotspots of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National park with a knowledgeable and experienced guide at EcoTour Adventures. We will hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of seasonally available wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.

Our guide Verlin Carlton Stephens took us on a great tour. We saw some moose and a herd of bison.Verlin is very knowledgeable about the area. He’s got good customer skills. He attends to your needs. I highly recommend him if you go on one of the Ecotours

Wonderful experience. Mark Byall, our guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. There was one other couple in the group so we had plenty of room in the van and the coffee, drinks and snacks kept us warm. Although we didn't see any bears we saw plenty of bison,moose,pronghorns and elks. The tour gave us a better understanding of the beauty and ecosystem of the Grand Tetons and an experience we won't forget.

Traveling from Idaho, as a family of 5 (all over 22 years old), we arrived to Jackson Hole late afternoon. Simply beautiful, but VERY cold. The views of the Grand Tetons and surrounding park was breathtaking! We planned a half-day sunrise safari ride with Eco-Tour for the next day and it was the best decision! We were greeted at our hotel promptly at 7am by Verlin, our Eco-Tour guide. He had breakfast treats and loads of coffee to start our day off right! We had a clear morning so our first stop was a perfect viewpoint of the Tetons at sunrise. Absolutely breathtaking! The rest of the day was filled with interesting facts about the park and resident wildlife. Verlin is so knowledgeable about the park, especially the wildlife. He did an amazing job at keeping us entertained and taking us to some great areas for spotting wildlife. We saw moose, elk and bison —lots of cool megafauna! We hoped to spot some bears and wolves, but no such luck—maybe next time! This was a great adventure, and we would not have been able to explore the park as efficiently as we did, if we drove around ourselves. We loved all the park facts and various commentary—Verlin was always happy to answer questions and was sure to find the perfect spots for taking pictures! We highly recommend this safari with Eco-Tours and be sure to request Verlin!
