Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. The parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.

The crew was very attentive to all passengers and was very enthusiastic about their jobs. The boat was gorgeous and well kept and clean. Refreshments were complimentary and they had a little snack after the advture for the ride back. The manta experience was much better at sunset I feel since it was not so dark on the way back. The crew was very well versed with manta facts and names of the manta as well. The manta got so close they almost touched you! Such a great crew and experience a must see with this catamaran crew!

This was a true adventure! The rays get within inches of your face and perform acrobatic dances. It's an experience you should not pass up! The crew were professional and fun. They made sure we all knew everything we needed to know to be safe. They gave us interesting facts about rays and the other sealife we were seeing in between ray passes and they made sure we were comfy and having a great time at all times. Drinks were served to watch the sunset by and warm drinks and snacks were provided after. The whole time we were there despite how many people were on board, I felt seen and that my experience was cared about. If you're going to do a ray snorkel (and you should) definitely do it with Kona Style .

This was a nice tour and we did have several mantas come up very close. We were on the 1st tour of the night and the staff talked about how manta activity increases on the later tour. Wish I had known before booking!!

Setting appropriate expectations of the type of experience we are intending to provide is very important to us! The two manta ray snorkel tours are thoughtfully timed for two different experiences. The first trip provides our guests a front row seat to gorgeous Kona sunsets that roll into a manta ray snorkel. The second is gauged towards a completely manta-centric experience where we typically see less boats and more mantas. Since mantas are wild, we cannot guarantee that the late night manta snorkel always has more mantas, but that is certainly the hope! Mahalo - The Kona Style Ohana.
