Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. The parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.

We did the night manta ray snorkel trip back in 2018 with a different outfit but didn't see any that time. I was unsure whether I wanted to spend the money again but I'm so glad I did. There were a lot fewer boats out this time and as soon as we got in the water, there was a manta ray right there. We got quite the show; at least 6 different rays were there and they got so close that I got touched twice by them as they glided by upside-down. The fact that Kona Style go out direct from the Kona pier is a big plus if you're staying within walking distance and all the staff were professional, fun, and respectful about the covid requirements. We'll be sure to sign up again the next time we're on the Big Island.

Wow! What an incredible experience! Don, Dave and Justin gave us the most magical evening with the manta rays! The trip was seamless from start to finish. I’m normally nervous in open water, but I felt perfectly safe knew what to expect the whole time, thanks to the awesome crew! We had several mantas give us a show and one even brushed up against my pregnant belly! I’ll never forget this magical experience and would 100% recommend Kona Style for your Hawaiian adventures!
