Sunset Bioluminescence Tour

Overview
Sunset is a magical time on the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. There is movement everywhere. Dolphins are rounding up their dinner, manatees are moving into the shallows to find a comfortable spot to spend the night. As the light fades and the sky ignites with dynamics color, “Mullethead Island,” a federally protected rookery, buzzes with activity as many of the refuge’s 358 unique bird species flock above you to their protected nests for the night. Typical species to expect include Ibis, herons, egrets, pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills, all set to the backdrop of rocket launch pads and iconic NASA landscape. Launch into your escape.

a "must do" experience in the space coast! our group of 14 was in the water quickly and little nonsense. we had preprinted the waivers. from Titusville go over the max brewer bridge, then head towards haul over canal. turn left just past the drawbridge. takes about 15 minutes from downtown. ( maybe your tour leaves from a different beach IDK)

I took the Mondo Combo Tour — Haulover Canal (Titusville). It was just wonderful... I went solo and felt very comfortable we were given kayak and safety instruction before we started out. We saw dolphins, lots of birds I especially liked the horn owl, roseate spoon bill and the white pelicans. The alligator sunning on bank was a nice surprise. The sunset over the water was just wonderful. We didn't see bioluminescence(but that's nature) I learned so much I'd like to do it again!

If your looking to go and pet a Manatee or a dolphin then I would suggest Sea World and it’s crowds. If you want to experience wildlife in a more natural setting and no crowds, I highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Bob, set a pace that was easy to follow and was highly informative. Bob shared many fun facts and made everyone laugh and truly enjoy the experience! Most importantly he made my wife and daughter feel safe and relaxed as we were looking for alligators and paddling in open water areas. We were fortunate enough to see a bit of everything wildlife wise, a spectacular sunset and of course we caught a few Comb Jellies. Great experience, great guides, we will definitely do it again.
