Sunset Kona Salt Farm Tour

Overview

Your guide will give you a brief overview of the history of our area, the special place salt has in Hawaiian Culture, our salt making process and the centuries-long travel through deep sea currents our ultra pristine and mineral rich water took before arriving to us here.

We finish with a tasting of some of our Kona Pure and flavored salts and then invite you to enjoy watching the sun as it sets into the ocean from our oceanfront grounds, our fire pit or covered deck.

What To Expect

Kailua-Kona

Our Salt Farm Manager will meet you at our office and give a guided tour of our water source, salt harvesting areas, explain the salt harvesting process, our other deep ocean mineral products and finish with a salt tasting.

We had the best time. So beautiful at sunset. The information was amazing. Our tour guide was amazing, we just can't get over the knowledge and the presentation. We were able to purchase there product and taste it.

This was such a wonderful and informative tour. Not only did we learn how Kona Sea Salt was harvested but our guide, Jeff, spent time telling us about the Hawaiian history/ culture of salt. I know he did had no control over the sunset but it was just perfect with pinks and blues. After the tour, we were able to taste the different blends and pick our favorites. Highly recommend.
