Overview

We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

The welcoming and knowledgeable captain Bob and the naturalist (whose name I forget) made the trip enjoyable and educational. We were scheduled for the 5 PM sunset cruise which had to be canceled. Thankfully, we were given the opportunity to join the afternoon cruise ! Our review is for the afternoon (1:30).

Both of us are really into nature, and this was the high point of our trip to Cape May. We saw lots of birds. The captain and naturalist were very knowledgable.

The captain and “first mate” mate were great - informative, skilled, knowledgeable about birds, and patient with our young children. All seven of us loved learning about the birds and seeing the “secretive” birds. Gorgeous sunset. And I’ve never seen so many egrets in my life! We saw snowy egrets, great egrets, ospreys, bald eagles, Great blue herons, plovers, clapperrails, and more!
