Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

It was an amazing experience. We definitely met wonderful new people and left as family. The food was DELICIOUS! The Wind Dancer company is excellent; we did two excursions with them this past weekend.

One of the best sailboat cruises I've been on. The boat was magnificent and the crew was outstanding. Food was served in a very novel way, but the selection of local products was excellent.

This was a wonderful, laid back sailing experience. The crew was professional and attentive. They made this more about personal experiences on the waters and not just a history lesson with interactions with the guest. The entire experience was relaxing filled with good conversation, food and drinks. And what a sunset!
