Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails

Overview

Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, casual conversations with the crew and other patrons, and the locally sources food and drink was superb. From start to finish, this was a great, though pricey, experience which we'd do again. Special kudos to 1st mate Audrey who provided excellent service along with a great sense of humor! Put this on your agenda!

Beautiful experience! The crew was great, good folks! Had a lot of fun meeting the guys from Under the Radar and Pure Michigan. It was so lovely to be out on that bay, just awesome. Very relaxing, and what a cool boat! Would definitely recommend to everyone! 👍👍👍 Thanks so much, would do again in a heartbeat!

A delightful evening cruise across and around West Bay with careful attention and friendly conversation from the captain and crew. The food was excellent. The evening culminated in a glorious sunset marked by a toast. Highly recommended!
