We took the extended sunset tour April 2019 and it was so worth it. Our guide gave us so much information about Navajo culture and knowledge about past and current life on the reservation. My mother and I were the only two on our tour so we got a very individualized experience. When our guide noticed I really enjoyed photography he made a point of showing me different angles and shots he knew other photographers have liked. Going into the quiet areas of the extended tour was definitely worth it. The peace and reverence you can feel out there was a truly spiritual experience. I finally understood the tie the Native Americans have to the land.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Prior to the tour we did the 17 mile drive ourselves. We then took the tour. While the tour duplicated some of what we had done,it also gave us access to much more area the public is not allowed to drive on. Our guide Marjorie was awesome, fun to be around and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

My family and I took the sunset tour, and it was a memorable experience. The van was very new and clean, and our guide, Majorie Gray, was very knowledgable, friendly, and patient. We had enough time to play around and take photos at every single stopping point. Majorie even made several extra stops, simply because we found some scenes worth a photo.
