You MUST be able to swim
Please wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. Sun protection such as sunscreen is strongly advised
Lessons are not private however the price does vary based on the number of guests per booking

Being from Pennsylvania 4 hours from the ocean our 14-year-old twins have been dying to go surfing. We spent the week in Myrtle Beach and decided to see if Jack could help us out, even though water temperatures were in the mid-60s. He returned our call right away and got us set up with Nu Horizons Dive shop for our wet suits. Our instructor Tim, who is quite an accomplished surfer, was excellent at explaining and patient with our many attempts to stand up. We were all able to get up for a few seconds by the end of the lesson. Our kids have been talking about how much fun they had ever since. Thanks for a truly memorable time in Myrtle Beach!

Being someone who has surfed before just not in a long time, I was worried that the instructor would hold me back and not let me go out into bigger surf .Our teacher Luke was super chill and supportive of anything we felt comfortable doing. I also liked the fact that we did not spend to much time on land and he wanted to get us in the water as soon as possible.

Our large group of 10 (ages 7 to 47) had a great surf lesson! Everyone managed to get up on the surf board at least a few times thanks to the great instruction. We had a lot of fun and great memories. 2 hours is definitely enough..... we had to take also a lot of breaks! Bring water!! (we forgot and to send someone out)
