You MUST be able to swim
Please wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. Sun protection such as sunscreen is strongly advised
Lessons are not private however the price does vary based on the number of guests per booking

This was a great experience for my teenage daughter and her friend. It was the highlight of their trip. The instructor was competent, helpful and fun. Both girls were bran new to surfing and my daughter was able to stand up on the board. That was more than she expected. We went with Jack's because the other company did not have any available instructors. They had a good reputation in the area and were easy to work with. I highly recommend them! I hope to visit them again for another lesson at our next vacation.

We are from Boston and wanted to get the full experience so we booked a surf lesson through this company because it was a good price and had other good reviews. My friends and I have been traveling and nonstop going with minimal sleep and accidentally missed our lesson by 30 minutes. we called and explained our situation and they were so kind to let us come in late with no problem! when we arrived they were kind and excited to get going, it was four 20-year-olds. The workers were very informal and kept it interesting and made great conversation. All four of us got up on the board in no time and were catching waves! It was a memory that we all will never forget

My son and I were just taking a daddy/son trip and wanted to give surfing a try. I am so glad we found Jacks Surf Lessons. It was the highlight of our Myrtle Beach trip. Curtis, our instructor was super helpful, was happy working with us, and was cheering us on during the entire session. I caught on fairly quickly, but Curtis worked with my son until he was was surfing all the way to the beach. We both had a fantastic time and can't wait to try it again.
