Surfing - Group Lesson - Waikiki, Oahu

Overview

Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

The staff was amazing! Good instructions, right to the point! Definitely recommend it, worth every penny! The picture and video were amazing as well and definitely worth getting!

James was an exceptionally talented instructor. He was motivating, encouraging, and uplifting. It worked! We had the confidence to get up on the surfboard and stay up. Surfing is my newest favorite hobby. Thank you, James!!

Our family was referred to Hans Hedemann for surfing lessons and they did not disappoint. Their instructions were thorough, we felt safe the whole experience in the water with the guides instructions and experience. The price was extremely reasonable for this personalized experience. The guides accompany you the entire time to and from the water, provide you with the equipment and boards. It was a highlight of our vacation!
