Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$35.00 heliport fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$35.00 heliport fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

No detailed instruction regarding flight schedule. We opt for 4:00 pm flight but we’re not informed to be there by 3:15 pm. We arrived at around 3:45 pm and had to pay and additional 200 USD. So disappointed ☹️. But we have no choice otherwise we’ll forfeit our flight which we already paid for 310 USD.

Nowhere in the tour description did it say that it was taking off for New Jersey instead of New York City. This was a tour of New York City. They state that there’s free cancellation. The confirmation came back that it was departing from New Jersey and we immediately tried to cancel. Staff was very unhelpful. Ended up working with the credit card company to dispute all charges. Stating that there is free cancellations is false advertising. This is a scam would not recommend them

It clearly states on the website that ALL tours depart from Kearny NJ. Please read before booking anything in the future. There is NO SCAM you did not read the term of service. You cannot cancel your flight the same day of your tour just like the airlines.

My partner and I were SO looking forward to the experience set with Taste of NYC. Looking at the reviews I chose this over other tours after reading the wonderful reviews and was willing to pay a bit more for the experience. It had been a dream of his for years. Unfortunately, we had a hiccup with our train being delayed to the city and we weren’t going to make it in time. We never wanted a refund as I was familiar with the policy - But, we requested to have the dates modified as we were in NYC for two more days. That request was painfully rejected. Great customer service would have been able to at least meet us halfway in trying to find another date. It felt as though the company was more pleased with absorbing our $310 for holding a reservation that wasn’t executed. Complete bummer

It is customer responsibility to also call when they are going to be late. You never called, and your flight was forfeited.
