Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$35.00 heliport fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$35.00 heliport fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

The tour offers incredibly amazing view of the city, we flew over the Liberty Island, it was so cool and yes If you visiting NY , take it. It worths it. Kearny Points is in New Jersey and you need to be there 45 mins at last before the schedule time

You have the impression of being livestock. We were parked on chairs during 1h30 before the trip. People were not friendly. We were always waiting for informations but nothing... The pilot didn't introduce himself and never talked to us. For this prestation and for the price, you have to be considered a minimum, no ? We were 35 mn late (because of traffic jams and in spite of our departure one hour before) so we have been charged 100USD more per person, even for my 2 kids of 4 and 7. But they made a trip more long as we paid 600 USD of penalties for the family... Be careful, this is no more in Manhattan but on the other side in New Jersey. It takes 40 mn to get there from Manhattan. About the flight it was fantastic, but I am not here to note the helicopter but the company... I put 2 stars for the longer tour...

You came in 10 min before your flight and missed the check in time and your flight. You did have to wait for the next flight and you were bumped up to the Ultimate Tour which is the longest tour we offer. It specifically says on our website where the tours depart from which is in New Jersey. It is customer responsibility to be on time just like an airport.

It was a wonderful experience.. all the bad reviews are related to late fees.. my recommendation would be to read the “view details” carefully and be there a little early.. everything will go smoothly! We had booked a 5pm ride and were at the shuttle stop an hour early.. called the number, got picked on time and everything went just as written in the detail section.. personally I would have liked a longer ride but the booking clearly stated 15 minutes and that’s what we got.. overall 5 stars
