Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$35.00 heliport fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$35.00 heliport fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO. Pay a little extra and get flynyon who won’t mess up your reservation dates. I bought two tickets to taste of new york thru groupon, spent a $100 on a taxi from new york to get there, waited 2 hours and finally someone said (over the phone cause taste of nyc doesnt even have their own location, flynyon supports them) “yaaa were closed for the day but come back another day.” My reservation for my flight was at 5pm. I got there 30 minutes before just like they asked. NOW groupon does not want to give me a refund nor the merchant. Be careful

Booked a Helicopter Tour of New York which was a real treat and great fun. Very well organised and all on time. Good commentary throughout Bit of a pain to get to from Manhattan but well worth the trip

Great view of New York and would recommend to anyone visiting the City. My only feedback and why I wouldn't give 5 stars is the poor organisation we came across. We were told to arrive half hour before our time slot which was 12pm so we got to the tour at 11:30am, we waited in the waiting area till about 12:10 to finally be called over and driven over to where you get the Helicopter from. We were put in a room and told that someone would come and get us shortly for our turn. We waited in the room for about half an hour and had around 4 different people come in and say we had been on already right? But we hadn't. A guy then came in and told us we were waiting in the wrong room and moved us into another room we had originally came in through, we were then told we would be going on shortly and continued waiting till approx. 1:15pm when we finally were taken outside for our turn. Our time slot was between 12-1pm and by the time we had finished and had been driven back to the start it was around 2pm so the whole thing took approx. 2.5hrs, not ideal if you are in New York a short amount of time like we were and half of your day is wasted by waiting around!
