Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.

I arrived to the check in point 1 minute late after the New Jersey bus system caused me to miss a transfer between 2 buses. After re-navigating and buying different bus tickets, I eventually booked an uber which arrived at the check in one minute late due to a detour on the route there. When I asked if I could have my late fee waived, the staff were rude and inconsiderate and didn't even look at me while they discussed amongst themselves how I could simply concede my helicopter ride and be escorted from the heliport. The ride itself was wonderful but you'll be charged with $35 upon arrival to the heliport and an additional $50 if you're 1-15 minutes late, $100 if you're more than 15 minutes late. Trust me, I thought I'd go with this one and arrive super early cause it looked like the cheapest option but you will definitely be better off going with a different helicopter tour, even if it seems to be a bit more expensive initially.

You arrived 20min prior to your scheduled flight. We called you as courtesy before your check in time to see were your were and you stated you got lost and was waiting for an Uber because you were running late and were going to miss your flight. It is customer responsibility to call if you're running late, you did not even read that there is a $35.00pp heliport fee which you received in your email.

No offices to check in, last- time -offers in which a larger trip is offered for 35$ more / person in a suspicious manner, disgusting attendants…the fly was nice and the pilot amazing…but the logistics fail at all.

All directions were sent to you by email. It is customer responsibility to read and follow directions. It clearly states on the booking and web that all passengers pay a heliport fee of $35.00 per person, no one was rude or suspicious to ask for the heliport fees. Customers need to READ!!
