This classic via ferrata route is a high-alpine traverse that precariously travels rock faces up to 600 feet above the valley floor below, exhilaratingly exposed in sections that would be impassable without the steel cables and holds along the way. The Telluride Via Ferrata provides unmatched views of Bridal Veil Falls (the highest free-falling waterfall in Colorado), the town of Telluride, and the surrounding peaks of the San Juan Mountains.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Not recommended for children younger than 10 years old or shorter than 5'0".
Not recommended for those with a severe fear of heights.
Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness, and be capable of hiking an uneven, rocky trail at above 10,000'.

Be prepared for a most transformative activity! Smiles, focus, fear, awe, elation, sense of vastness, ending with the knowledge you have just accomplished a milestone! Wow! Can not thank your team enough for a wonderful experience. Grant, our guide, was a rockstar with everyone...especially our kiddos. The perfect fit! We were all nervous and throughout the exhilarating hike, he was patient, kind and gave incredibly detailed instruction...I know both of our kiddos accomplished the entire climb because he instilled confidence and was so encouraging with them. Put this one on your definite to do list as it really is a once in a lifetime experience.

What an amazing experience! Our family of 4 really loved our Via Ferrata hike with Mountain trip. Our guide, Grant, was friendly, competent and experienced. He explained the proper technique to use and stressed safety along the route, so that we all felt comfortable - one of the best tour guides I have ever had. The views were amazing! I would do this again and would highly recommend Mountain Trip!
