This classic via ferrata route is a high-alpine traverse that precariously travels rock faces up to 600 feet above the valley floor below, exhilaratingly exposed in sections that would be impassable without the steel cables and holds along the way. The Telluride Via Ferrata provides unmatched views of Bridal Veil Falls (the highest free-falling waterfall in Colorado), the town of Telluride, and the surrounding peaks of the San Juan Mountains.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness, and be capable of hiking an uneven, rocky trail at above 10,000'.

We loved our Via Ferratta trip with JC and Mountain Trip. He gave us the experience of a life time. He kept everything under control and while the adrenaline was pumping we never felt unsafe. Can't say enough about this trip and our guide JC. Remember JC - Fear burns calories!

A group of 4 (2 adults, one reluctant, one excited) and 2 kids (11- and 14-years old, both excited) spent a super day on the Telluride Via Ferrata with Todd. Mountain Trip provided a high-quality, safe experience allowing everyone in our group - whether the bold climbers or the more fearful adult - to experience some of the most beautiful views of Telluride and Bridal Veil Falls. We felt a high degree of confidence after meeting Todd that we would have a super and safe day which we did, and we enjoyed spending our day with him. Todd was incredibly patient, informative, and helped make sure we all ahd a good time. The experience and views of Telluride are not to be missed. Mountain Trip takes people all over the world to experience amazing places, and we had a super experience with them.

Had an incredible experience on the Telluride Via Ferrata with JC. There were incredible views of the valley and we learned a lot about the history around Telluride from our guide. Definitely had the adrenaline pumping the entirety of the 4 hour trek, but JC was more than helpful at getting us through.
